Witch-hunters come to town

Characterised by his tall wide-brimmed hat, dark clothing, no-nonsense demeanour, and penchant for arresting and burning Mutants, few evoke terror in the guilty and the innocent like Witch Hunters. Much has been written of these dedicated men, and rumours swirl about them like the smoke from their pyres. But they conceal the truth behind a mask of competence and fiery zealousness. SOURCE

 

The classic witch-hunter outlook would require colonial hats, long cloaks, grim faces, and a variety of weapons (from sabers to guns). In LEGO-terms, it would be a mix of pirates and castle themes, with an occasional addition from several other themes (e.g. avengers) in my MOCs.

Most certainly not innovative, but here come my first 3 witch-hunters. Once again, we pay the price for a limited variety of bits, but it is extreme fun. 2 more are in the pipeline.

Here comes the grim commander, a veteran of the Inquisition.

 

 

Here the Witchhuntress, who would deserve a better dress than the one of a prisoner. Yet, a paid a little fortune for this colonist hat which at present remains the closest to the official WH design (although patently too short)

Finally, the youngster, climbing the withhunter ranks.
