As we all know oldhammer is half recycling and half revamping the classic Warhammer fantasy line-ups. Too much work to do and Age of Sigmar still agitating in the background.
Yet this one guy came out lately, estethically very close to wild wizards and yet different: the elementalist.
Elementalism is a form of ancient Human magic use that predates the days in which the High Elf Archmage Teclis came from Ulthuan, established the Imperial Colleges of Magic and taught Humanity the theories and rites of Colour Magic. It was a form of nature magic, whose adherents believed that all magic could be divided up between the four classic elements of alchemy: earth, air, fire and water.
There in the canon for a long time, now coming to life with a minifigure. It felt I totally had to give it a try and I am satisfied enough with this beta here.It all plays around the dark tan (including the bird) and the olive green who mix wonderfully.
COMMENT
- Core of this build is the halfling druid from the DnD collectible series: horned hood, cloak, torso, and legs (who said they are all tall?)
- The very short beard comes once again from a very old character of some alternative brand
- The scepter has the geode on top
- This is the best shot at the giant horns I could come up with so far (what are they even?) both in terms of size and shape (we would need more reindeer ones)
Moonstick is already ordered and will be one of the main changes in the new version to come. At the moment, I haven't come up with any idea to also combine with the collar fur, which would be so needed here!
